For Alexis' second photoshoot she got my attention when she said we could use her boyfriend’s Harley Davidson. It was all cleaned up and ready to go.

Now who could pass that offer up?

So, for a location, we picked a local cotton gin to give us an industrial look. And, since it was out of season we had the cotton gin to ourselves. But no, we did not just sneak into the location. We had the owner’s permission.

Our first spot we picked was inside the gin out of the bright sunlight. The lighting for these photographs where just a simple on light with a beauty dish.

For our last location we wanted the module truck as the background. The angle of the sun wasn’t my first choice but with it being this was Sunday, and nobody was there, we couldn’t move the truck. With the hard sunlight coming in on the camera’s rights, almost far enough to call it backlighting I set two strobes up on the camera left to fill in the shadows but keeping it hard to match the sun’s hard light.
