Original the planned location for this photoshoot with Isabel was going to be downtown Wharton Tx. And then as I was driving the spot we planned on meeting at, I could see there was a big event going on. Tents all around the courthouse.

With a quick phone call to discuss a change of location, we decided to go down the road to the next town, Glen Flora. A great little town with a few great old buildings. One really special one that is only partially still standing and covered in vines.

But one big problem with Glen Flora is the whole town is posted "No Trespassing". Thanks to “photographers” that believe it’s easier to ask forgiveness then permission.

But I figured we could at least stay on the public street and put the building in the background. And that was the thought I went with, until I got there and noticed the Glen Flora Emporium was still open. At that point I thought I would give it a try and ask if we could do a photoshoot there around the buildings. Specially that one. And to my surprise she said that since I have always asked before, she would allow us to do a photoshoot there this time. That worked out great!
